StayWell Hospitality Group to Launch in Bali

StayWell Hospitality Group (StayWell), the owner and operator of the Park Regis and Leisure Inn brands today announced a new agreement to operate a 4 star hotel in Bali, Indonesia.

The property will be branded as Park Regis Kuta with a proposed opening in early 2013 and will be StayWell Hospitality Group?s first hotel to officially open in Indonesia.

Owner of the property, PT Rudy Indopratama Sejahtera, has engaged StayWell Hospitality Group?s experienced team to provide management services under a long term management agreement.

The property is centrally located on Jalan Raya Kuta, a short distance to the main beach, shopping districts, local attractions, nightclubs and restaurants of the popular Kuta area.

Park Regis Kuta comprises 175 guest rooms ? including Studios, Junior Suites and Pool Suites, with most rooms viewing over the hotel?s pool and sundeck area. The property will also offer guest facilities including 24 hour reception, al fresco caf?, restaurant, outdoor tropical swimming pool, fitness centre, day spa, business centre and car parking.

StayWell?s Chief Executive Officer, Mr Simon Wan, said that the latest announcement is an exciting addition to the group?s portfolio and a destination which is a strategic step in StayWell?s expansion plan.

?Bali is a destination we have been considering for some time and were waiting for the right opportunity, which we?ve found with Park Regis Kuta. We anticipate this announcement will be the start of further developments within the South East Asia region, including further properties within Indonesia itself,? he said.

As with all its new developments globally, StayWell plans to leverage off its established brands and properties in Australia, Singapore and Dubai. Future plans for the group also include expansion into China, India and Europe as well as further growing its portfolio within Australia.

StayWell?s head office is based in Sydney, Australia, with regional offices in India, Singapore, Dubai and Shanghai as well as global sales offices in London, Munich and Hong Kong.
