Nikki Beall & Rebecca Smith join The Lodge & Spa at Callaway Gardens as Conference Service Managers
The Lodge and Spa at Callaway Gardens, an elegant interpretation of a traditional mountain lodge in the heart of middle Georgia, proudly announces the addition of Nikki Beall and Rebecca Smith, as conference service managers. The two bring more than twenty years of experience in conference service management with time served within the Callaway Gardens market. Beall and Smith will be responsible for providing full service support and coordination of all event and meeting aspects of The Lodge and Spa. The Lodge and Spa at Callaway Gardens is part of Autograph Collection, an upscale ensemble of uniquely independent hotels within the Marriott International, Inc. global portfolio.
Beall began her career at Callaway Gardens and held several positions including, assistant housekeeping manager, assistant front office manager, certified meeting planner and most recently, sales and service manager. While at Callaway Gardens, Beall sold and planned meetings as well as coordinated all meeting facets of food and beverage, recreation, transportation, accommodations and meeting schedules.
As a graduate of the University of Georgia – Center for Continuing Education, Smith completed the conference and meeting management program and also fulfilled Convention Industry Council’s certified meeting professional program. She previously served as conference service manager at Callaway Gardens where she serviced corporate groups, associations, educational organizations and government agencies. Smith also worked for Association Services Group in LaGrange, Ga., where she was director of operations and meeting support as well as meeting manager. While at Association Services Group, she developed event databases for conference options and pricing, prepared budget reports and coordinated services for various meetings and shows.
